Program Roadmap assessment is performed based on in-depth interviews with executive stakeholders and sponsors. The strengths and weakness of the organization, risks and rewards in reaching the end goal of the program is evaluated. Based on the assessment Fortidm draws a high level plan and presents to the management.
Program charter: High level plans and decisions are documented in program charter with an agreement from the sponsors and key stakeholders.
Planning: In this phase all the pertinent projects are identified and the details of the projects that make up the program are defined and further subjected to detailed planning with identified project managers. The planning includes high-level technical solution with a proof of concept of the feasibility. Project schedules with scope, cost, risks, resources, procurement needs, data center sizing, capacity planning, demand forecast, quality (assurance) metrics, training needs, help desk etc. are analyzed and documented.
Execution: Projects are executed per plan and adjusted according to the approved changes and documented.
Monitoring & control: Various project-monitoring tools such as CLARITY, Remedy, issues-log, periodic status meetings etc. and techniques are employed for monitoring and control of the project.
Closure:After every project is delivered the impact to the program is evaluated.
